about me

As the daughter of an artist and a seasoned traveler, my upbringing has honed my ability to recognize archetypes in Mediterranean and modern cultures. Perhaps influenced by my Italian heritage and the urban-nature blend of Panama City, where I grew up surrounded by tropical forests, these contrasting elements continually inspire me with their rich vegetation and postmodern architecture. My art reflects this blend of influences on each canvas, creating pieces that are both unique and universally relatable. They embody a natural spirit of gratitude and simplicity, shaped by my education across Europe and the Americas. This synthesis defines a postmodern vision rooted in the sincere essence of art.

Statement

“My research is based on the observation of the refractions of light, in particulaly those on the surface of the water, the change of direction and the waves that create and generate a hypnotic effect.

I am interested in exploring layers, their distortions and contrasts, that cotinuous transformation of forms that become a metaphor for the constant changes that we live by growing, evolving and therfore redefining ourselves”.

Studio

“My studio is located in my hometown Panamá, in one of the most dynamic neighborhoods in the city center. With double-height ceilings that allow ample natural light to flood the space, it’s the perfect environment for fostering creativity. The vibrant surroundings inspire me daily, providing a constant source of energy and ideas.”
